Cancel a Service

Cancel a VPS, game server, or other service from MyNobull: the seven-day notice rule, immediate versus end-of-cycle cancellation, and how domains differ.

Updated 2 min read

There are no long-term contracts at NoBull Networks: you can cancel any service yourself from MyNobull, at any time, without opening a ticket. Cancellation must be done in the portal; a ticket, an email, or a chat message asking us to cancel is not a valid cancellation request under the Terms of Service.

Back up first

When a cancellation takes effect the service is terminated and its data is destroyed. It is your responsibility to take and verify any backups before you request cancellation. See Backups, RAID, and Data Protection.

Cancel a VPS, VDS, game server, or other service#

  1. Log in to MyNobull at my.nobullnetworks.com and open Services.
  2. Select the service you want to cancel.
  3. Click Request Cancellation. Give a short reason if you like; honest feedback genuinely shapes what we build.
  4. Choose the cancellation type. Immediate terminates the service straight away. End of billing period keeps it running until the current paid period ends and then stops the renewal.
  5. Confirm. You will receive an email acknowledging the request, and the service page shows it as pending cancellation.

The seven-day rule#

Submit cancellation requests at least seven days before the renewal date. Renewal invoices are generated and charged ahead of the due date, and a request that arrives inside that window can miss the cut, in which case the service renews as normal. If that happens, cancel in the portal and then read Refunds and the 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee for how the renewal charge is handled.

Domains are different#

A domain is not cancelled with a cancellation request. To let a domain lapse, open it under Domains in MyNobull and disable auto-renew. It will then expire at the end of its current term. Be sure that is what you want: an expired domain takes its website, subdomains, and email with it, and domain purchases are not refundable.

Changed your mind?#

An end-of-period cancellation can usually be withdrawn before it takes effect: open a billing ticket as soon as possible. An immediate cancellation cannot be undone once the service is terminated, and neither can the data.

Considering a downgrade instead?#

If cost is the reason, a smaller plan or a switch to the Foundational line may fit better than leaving. See Upgrade or Downgrade a Plan.
