- RAM allocation: ECC memory ensures stability; your footprint determines both hardware capacity and energy draw.
- Disk space: NVMe and SSD RAID arrays cost more to acquire and maintain, so the storage tier moves the base price.
- Power usage: measured in watts per node; platinum-rated supplies and EPYC efficiency keep this down.
- Feature costs: off-host backups, snapshot retention, and additional IPv4 or IPv6 allocations each carry incremental expense.
Calculating base cost: we sum those five factors to determine what it truly costs us to run each plan.
Adding a sustainable margin: depending on the tier (entry, mid-tier, or high-performance) we apply a consistent margin. That covers transaction fees, staff training, tooling upgrades, and the capital to keep expanding the network and fleet.
